Lae’zel’s demands for proficiency are a bit staggering, especially since that woman lives and breathes combat. While I understand why, I still find her expectations rather unrealistic.
However, perhaps I could show you thing or two? I wouldn’t mind crossing blades with you one way or another.

Admittedly, being thought of as 'soft and spoiled' by some of our number has grown rather tiresome. I may have grown softer than I'd like since taking on the orb, but as a former Chosen of Mystra, greater demands were made of me than your average adventurer, certainly.
It seems our companions have forgotten just how clever and devious you are on the battlefield. While you may not possess the brawn others have, you certainly are cunning enough to outsmart even the mightiest of foes.
